Sentinel's Licence from the Irish Government
has enabled the company to create innovative and profitable cross-border
financing structures. Furthermore, given the pro-business tax-code,
Ireland is an ideal jurisdiction to undertake such financing structures.
A wide variety of financing structures have been
successfully created and used by Sentinel to assist the financing of high
value projects, most notably to finance aircraft. The cumulative
amount of such financings exceeds US $1 billion and today Sentinel is
actively involved in the leasing of in excess of US $300 million worth of
aircraft.
The financing of tangible assets was the initial focus
in Sentinel for many years before expanding its capabilities to finance
intangible assets, (mainly Intellectual Property), essentially using the
same skill base.
This in turn led to providing Company Management
Services as a result of a demand from clients, and this is now the main
thrust of Sentinel's business.
